As an artist he's the perfect blend of organic southern soul, jazz, and live instrumentation with vivid storytelling, imagery, and a unique introspective view on life.

Since a young age, Quent Young has been surrounded by music. He picked up his first instrument and found his love for poetry in elementary, while enrolled at a performing art school.

Inspired by his father’s extensive music catalog and his uncle 

— who was a local hip hop artist, Quent's love for music would eventually lead him to a music scholarship at North Carolina Central University. Quent Young has been seen on stage in concert across the east coast headlining various venues.

With an emergent  fan base, intense work ethic, and demanding stage presence, Quent Young is determined to make his name a staple in not only just hip hop but throughout the music at large.
